Project overview

Project overview

Diesel Dudes provides 24/7 mobile diesel repair, emergency roadside assistance, and fleet maintenance services across North and South Carolina.

Unlike traditional repair shops, Diesel Dudes brings mechanical services directly to customers, helping truck drivers, fleet operators, and businesses address vehicle breakdowns and minimize downtime.

The goal was to create a professional, service-focused website that clearly communicates the company's capabilities, makes it easier for customers to request assistance, and strengthens its online presence across multiple service areas.

The challenge

The challenge

When a truck breaks down, customers don't have time to search.

Diesel Dudes serves customers who often need immediate assistance. Whether it's a truck stranded on the highway or a fleet vehicle experiencing mechanical issues, finding the right service quickly is essential.

The challenge was to organize a broad range of repair services and geographic coverage into a website that's quick to use under pressure.

The website needed to serve two important audiences: customers requiring urgent roadside assistance and businesses looking for reliable ongoing fleet maintenance.

At the same time, it needed to establish trust, communicate technical expertise, and help potential customers discover Diesel Dudes through location-specific online searches.

The approach

The approach

Designing around urgency, accessibility, and trust.

The priority was a straightforward experience built around the information customers need most: what services are available, where the company operates, and how to request assistance.

Prominent calls to action make it easier for visitors to contact Diesel Dudes without navigating through unnecessary steps.

I organized the company's extensive services into dedicated pages, helping visitors identify the type of repair or assistance they need.

Location-specific content was also incorporated into the website structure to support regional search visibility and make service coverage easier to understand.

The visual direction balances a strong automotive identity with clean layouts, practical information, and responsive design.

My role

What I delivered

  • Service-Focused Website DesignA professional, responsive website tailored to mobile diesel repair.
  • Emergency-First User ExperienceProminent call buttons and service request pathways designed for customers needing immediate assistance.
  • Service Page ArchitectureOrganized repair services, including emergency roadside assistance, engine diagnostics, electrical repairs, brake systems, and fleet maintenance.
  • Location-Based Website StructureDedicated service-area pages to support geographic discovery across North and South Carolina.
  • Conversion-Focused NavigationClear pathways guiding visitors toward relevant services and direct contact.
  • Trust & CredibilityContent sections communicating the company's experience, service capabilities, and commitment to transparent communication.
  • Mobile-Responsive DevelopmentAn accessible experience for customers searching for assistance from their phones while on the road.
The outcome

The outcome

Customers can now explore repair services, check whether Diesel Dudes covers their area, and find a way to request help quickly, including from a phone at the roadside.

By organizing technical services and geographic information into a clear structure, the experience supports both emergency service requests and planned maintenance inquiries.

The website also provides a foundation for expanding the company's online visibility as its service network grows.

Rather than functioning as a simple online brochure, the platform is designed to support a practical business objective: connecting customers who need diesel repair services with the team that can help them.

Closing thought

Good design isn't always about making people stay longer. Sometimes, it's about helping them find what they need faster.

For Diesel Dudes, the focus was a digital experience built around real-world urgency, making it easier for drivers and businesses to find the right service, reach the right people, and get back on the road.
